Tugra Bogazkere
Bogazkere is one of the unique indigenous varietals of Anatolia, which we grow at our own vineyards in Denizli. Bogazkere is a grape, very rich in polyphenols and it yields high quality red wines which are powerful, full-bodied and tannic. The grapes - cultivated with modern vineyard management methodology and a low yield program - were harvested in early September. Following 11 days of maceration and fermantation sur lie, the wine was matured for a total of 9 months in French and American Oak barrels. The resulting wine has smooth
and round tannins and a layered complexity while maintaining the varietal’s pleasent floral characteristics. Powerful, long and fruity Tugra Bogazkere invokes the aromas of clove, cranberry, smoke, raspberry and toasted hazelnut.
